Chapter three- Persephone
I partied a little while longer with the three brothers, Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus. Aphrodite until I lost track of time. Eventually I checked the time on my phone and it was 12:19. I was surprised that I had stayed that long, but I wanted to stay longer. This was something that my mom never let me do; be a kid. At one point I got a little tired so I went over to the punch bowl, where I saw Hades, alone.
“Hey, Persephone.” Hades said to me without looking up. “Doing okay?” “Yeah, I have never done this before,” I said.
“Never done what ?” he said.
“Wait , we should exchange numbers" I said," mines (877) 572 3312, what's yours?”
“(367) 562 9032.” he replied. Then I got a text.
Mom: Come home now!
I texted back: seriously, mom?!
Mom: I will stop you from going to school!
Persephone: But, you never let me go to parties!
Mom: its for your safety. I want you to come home unharmed! Do you hear me?
Persephone: you know that you can't use language like that over text, because you're typing. Not yelling, well, you may be yelling at your phone but I can't actually hear you.
Mom: don't you smart mouth me
Persephone: FINE. I'll come home.
“Sorry, Hades ,gotta go.” I told him.
“I’ll text you!” I yelled as I ran out the door. I started to walk home, unfortunately, I couldn't catch many buses in that part of the country at that time. So I had to either sit and wait for a bus, even though it might take hours, or take a long tiring walk home. I decided to take the long and tiring walk. I would have called a taxi chariot, but her phone didn't have much battery left so she used a map on my phone to get halfway there, the other half, my phone died so I had to find my way from memory. At one point I felt something on the side of my phone. It was a tracker! I was not happy.
“Where have you been?” Mom yelled right as I was walking through the door.
“Mom, you know exactly where I’ve been! you put a tracker on my phone!” I said angrily. “I mean, who does that?”
“I was asleep! You didn’t tell me where you were and I was tired. I just decided to check on you in your room and you weren't there. So I texted you to come home. I really couldn't think straight. I’m sorry, I was worried.” explained to mom.
“Only someone crazy would do all of this because they are worried.”
I said furiously. I left to charge my phone, then I laid down in bed, not very tired, but I was tired of her.
